Tales of mega-conglomerates in a time when the universe was young and the light was upon us all ... Part i
TONIGHT: We’ll explore the idea of regeneration, corporate manipulation and the hostile takeover of the universe as depicted in the annals of a mega-conglomerate with designs on the future of both humanity and our existence.
Silent. Manipulative integrity. Integrated corporate espionage and runner capable of altering the past are all but the opening aspects of an all out hostile corporate takeover of the galaxy hell-bent on manipulating the very essence of life itself. However, Trithen Industries is not the bad guy in this scenario, but rather the threshold from which evil found its way into an unsuspecting universe. It is possible that one future can be traded for another, even if the populous has no idea it is happening. The real villain in the Crimson Indigo saga isn’t the corporate menace that preys on its citizens but the impeccable greed generated as a byproduct of its manipulation of reality. The essence of a dark hidden influence on life itself spawns from its own precise cancer on reality. Mankind is held in an iron-fist grip, yet has little knowledge of its unrelenting influence over his existence.
For purposes of the Crimson Indigo saga, we decided to introduce a multidimensional corporate structure that exists across time and space, through dimensions and alternate universes to our own. It’s the ultimate vision of oppression and absolute control over every world known to the inhabitants of the multidimensional universe. Corporate runners alter the past in order effect the future, which in turn affects the reality on as many worlds as the hostile takeover sees fit to exploit.
The mega-conglomerate has designs on the future, intends to maintain its divisions of existence in such a way that the masses are kept simplistic, divided and harbored only by the labor of undetermined vows. It’s a romanticized effort to allow only the elite technocrats and mechacrats to flourish on the backs of the oppressed masses of any world in the federated entity know as the Assembly, the ruling body of the corporate elite.
It is through this process that the original plans for the universe found a place in the effortless acquisition of antiquity, only to see the prospective antiques discharged of undesirable influence. The future is in the hands of the few, the outcome of its destruction left unchecked in the face of corporate tyranny and planetary manipulation through the use of regeneration, terraforming and the eventual starvation of its citizens. Salvation, however, is destined to find a way to restore balance to the universe, allowing good and evil to face off in a never-ending battle for supremacy.
Available on both the individual scale as well as a planetary measure, it is important to the process of corporate domination that we realize the potential for unparalleled conflict across an unsuspecting cosmos. For the purposes of the Crimson Indigo saga we wanted the adversarial entity to be as realistic as possible, not prominent in today’s society but rather a far flung ancestor to the baseline of corporations born of the twenty-first, twenty-second and distant past. For all intents and purposes, Trithen Industries is born of necessity, bled to a new rendition of itself then given resurrection in the guise of an inhumane entity whose sole purpose is the domination of the corporate hierarchy destined to fulfill the single prophesy of the Kalamar Indigna, in essence allowing all those realities we experience everyday to stand in unison without opposition in a future where mankind is a breed of product, manufactured and discarded as simply as intolerance allows.
NEXT TIME: We explore the adventure, the restructuring of humanity, and the development of the strains of mankind destined to find a place among the stars, futures and alternate realities we will soon consider the playgrounds of the Kalamar™ and the testimonies give life in the tales of the Master-builders.
